AppletHub Terms of Use (Pilot)
Last updated: October 20, 2026
These Terms apply to your use of AppletHub, run by AI Lawyer Lab LLC, a California limited liability company ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. The pilot
AppletHub is in a free pilot. Features may change, and the pilot may end. We will use reasonable efforts to tell you before it ends, so you can export your Instructions.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- During the pilot you join with an invitation code, or through the link to an Applet someone shared with you. An account that joined through a link can run Applets. To make Applets, it needs an invitation code.
- One account per person. Keep your password safe.
- Other people see your nickname, never your email.
3. Your content is yours
- Makers own their Applets: the Instruction, the Interface and their conversations with the AI Expertise Engineer (the Engineer).
- Users own their inputs and results.
- We use your content only to run the service for you and for the people you share with, as the Privacy Policy explains. We never use it to train AI models.
4. Sharing
- You choose who can use each Applet: Private (only you), Invite only (people you invite), Public (anyone with the link) or Open source (anyone with the link, with the Instruction visible).
- People who run your Applet see the form and their results, not your Instruction. As with any AI tool, a determined user may be able to infer parts of it.
- Open source: when you make an Applet Open source, you give everyone a free, worldwide, non-exclusive and irrevocable licence to view, copy, adapt and share its Instruction, for any purpose.
- Before you make an Applet Open source, you confirm that you have the rights to its text and that it contains no client-confidential or third-party content.
- Examples you attach are visible to everyone who can open the Applet. Do not use runs with confidential or client information.
- We may feature Public and Open source Applets, including their name, description, your nickname and examples, on our website, in emails and in other publications. If you change an Applet to Private or Invite only, we stop featuring it in anything new.
- You are responsible for what you share, and you must have the right to share it.
5. AI results
Results come from AI models. They can be wrong, even when they look right. They are not legal or professional advice from AppletHub. Check them before you rely on them.
6. Credit
- The person who runs an Applet pays the usage cost of that run. Makers pay for their own use of the Engineer.
- Each account gets $10 of free credit. Credit has no cash value. You can ask for more during the pilot.
- Charging for use is experimental and may change or end. A Maker may set a price per run on an Invite only or Public Applet. The price is paid from the User's credit to the Maker's credit, on top of the usage cost. Any run that returns an answer is charged, even if it shows "Problem". Credit received as earnings also has no cash value. There are no refunds in the product; to ask for one, write to contact@applethub.ai.
7. Fair use
Do not:
- use AppletHub for anything unlawful;
- try to extract another Maker's Instruction;
- open several accounts to get more credit;
- break the AI providers' usage policies (Anthropic, OpenAI);
- put in information you are not allowed to share.
8. Confidential information
You decide what to put in. If you have professional duties of confidentiality, you are responsible for meeting them. See the Confidentiality note for lawyers.
9. Ending
You can delete your account at any time in Account settings. We may suspend an account that breaks these Terms.
10. No warranty, limited liability
AppletHub is a pilot and is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to US$100.
11. Changes
If we change these Terms, we will tell you in the app first.
12. Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Contact: contact@applethub.ai.
